A great UFO sighting was submitted to MUFON regarding a February 5th sighting of a black triangle UFO. According to the witness, two super bright lights quietly flew overhead, and as it passed, revealed a triangle pattern. My wife called me to the back door and pointed to the West Southwestern sky. Following her indication I saw 2 bright lights, like headlights on high-beam, approaching in a low altitude strait pattern headed toward me. The noise level was lower than any aircraft I have ever heard. It flew directly over my house. I observed three lights in equilateral triangle pattern on the undercarriage of the UFO. Unfortunately, I didn't have the wherewithal to record it.

Just read the above and it brought back a memory of an event that happened to me in late December of 2007. I was in the Civil Air Patrol and conducting my cadet encampment. It was our final night, right after the banquet around 2300. I was standing in the parking lot on the south eastern side of camp looking to the south east. Now, I'm an aircraft maniac. We had a C130 fly over a few days before and a pair of pavehawks a couple of days after that, so, seeing something flying over is what I wanted to see. Anything military would've been a juicy treat. So, with that in mind, I spot a red light to my south east, same or similar to a tower light. That's what I thought it was, till it moved. Immediately thinking it was a Blackhawk or pavehawks hovering, I watched it. It would move a little, stop for a bit, then move a little. Then, it looked like it had finished "dropping it's load" because it started head towards me. I got excited because this chopper was making a beeline for the North. Yes, it was dark, but even hearing a UH-60 pass that close would've been sweet. Instead, and to my never ending and utter surprise, it shot off at a rate if speed which I would only compare to a meteorite, only, it was into the sky. I stood there, eyeballing where I thought it had "poofed" pretty much thinking "what the hell just happened?". I've never thought those thoughts before about anything that can become airborne. But, it happened. It was between 30 and 40 degrees outside, the light hovered about a mile to my southeast and I couldn't really gauge how close it came before it shot off. That was the first real time I couldn't identify what was in the sky, even at night. I've had 2 other occasions I've seen something in the sky that I couldn't identify, one of which was for sure a UFO sighting. But this one time blew my world apart. So, anything seen around camp swift in the sky cannot by completely dismissed every time.

A few months back at approximately 3:00 am I saw 2 black triangular types of aircraft fly over my property. They were very quiet and each one had a blue and red light on it. They were between 15 and 20 feet long and they were flying very low. I managed to get a picture of them. There are numerous strange things going on out here in Cedar Creek which is in Bastrop county.
