UFO Shoots Up Into Sky and Leaves Hole in Clouds

• When: July 29th, 2017
• Where: Copperas Cove (right outside Killeen)
• What: Silver object ascended into sky, piercing through cloud and leaving a giant hole; Identified: Jet performing maneuvers

8/1/2017 Update: Word is coming in from locals living in Copperas Cove, who were also witnesses to this,. They claim a jet was simply performing maneuvers in the area! It is indeed true that a high-powered craft punched a hole in the clouds over the city that day, but that craft most likely was a jet.  Read the following comment shared by a Facebook fan, and echoed by others online: "It was a jet. They were doing maneuvers. I work in Copperas Cove. A coworker and I were watching them." I am still trying to follow up with the original witness to see if they can share additional details about this sighting, and you're welcome to share as well if you think there really was a UFO (as well as a jet) over Copperas Cover on the 29th. But for now, this case is closed!

A Copperas Cove, Texas resident, who prefers to go by the name "AB," was awoken by a call from their brother about a silver UFO that was witnessed speeding up into the sky and piercing through a cloud --- sure enough when AB stepped outside,  they noticed the hole in the sky and fortunately took many photos. Here is one of them, which was submitted to TexasUFOs along with testimony:

On July 29, 2017 I was taking a nap when I received a phone call from my brother to run outside and look at a UFO that shot through the clouds leaving a punched hole in the clouds. I ran outside and was amazed to see that the clouds had opened up into a donut holes. The whole sky was eerie. My brother was traveling home from Gatesville, TX coming into Copperas Cove when he said he looked up and he barely caught a glimpse of an object flying at a high rate of speed Pierce through the clouds, when the object went through the clouds a circle opening appeared and there was what appeared to be a jet stream wisp of clouds that followed the object in like it pulled some clouds in with it. He believes it not to be a jet due to the speed and the quickness it shot upwards. I have many photos of the hole that was left in the clouds.
