1/2/2020

  • When: New Years Eve (December 31st, 2019 around 12 PM through first minutes of January 1st, 2020)
  • Where: Texas (from north of Houston in Tomball, down to South Texas)
  • What: Strange stationary lights

Any time you look up at the sky, you increase your chances of seeing a UFO! Well, on nights like New Year's Eve, when fireworks displays take on the attention of more people than usual, UFOs are seen more than usual. Case in point... here are a few recent encounters of hovering lights over Tomball and South Texas fireworks shows. But are these aliens? Or maybe just drones, fellow fireworks, or even stars? As always, you be the judge:

"I thought they were fireworks waiting to explode then realized they were flying toward me at a faster than normal speed. Had orange lights, went a little above the cloud to dim the light and I saw a round aircraft with the orange light in the back. There were 3 in the video but after those 3 passed another 1 passed by following the other 3."

I live in Katy TX,and yes just minutes after midnight I saw the first orange looking orb-craft fly in from one direction and to the other. At which point the lighting I guess dimmed out and could no longer see it. Not even 5 minutes after that there were 2 more coming from the same direction heading in the same direction as the first one. Except that one of them veered off in a different direction than the first, and the 3rd went in the same direction as the first one. Of course, being that it was new years eve my initial thought was either a low flying plane of some sort, but when I could not identify it with distinct aircraft lighting familiar with all planes I was totally baffled. Or fireworks. A solid orange, unblinking lighting...when I could no longer see the lightning I was still able to vaguely see it's dark shape. It had to have been miles from my house. I was only able to see a black dot at that point. From my common sense knowledge of flying aircraft it was definitely nothing of what I know. I am glad I wasnt only one to notice, thanks for posting.

Yes I saw them from a distance hovering over austin around 11:45 to right before midnight. I was on a hill in east austin overlooking the city to watch the fireworks. There were about 10 or so hovering in a sort of line. So weird. I have a video showing about 4 of them as they had already started to spread out and disappear.

Yes! I saw them from a distance, above Austin at 11:45 new years eve. Hovering above higher than fireworks go. The movement was not typical of anything I had seen. They were in a sort of line then after awhile drifted apart and disappeared. I have a video showing a out 4 of them.

We live in Kingwood, Texas and saw more than 10 of these reddish orange lights around midnight. They came up from the west, stopped about 60 degrees up and seemed to just disappear.
