UFOs Over Austin - Multiple Witnesses

• When: May 8th, 2013
• Where: Austin
• What: Wedge-shaped, unlit craft, as well as two objects moving in changing formations in another part of town

I almost posted two separate blog entries for these two separate UFO reports, but since they both came out of Austin around the time (10 pm and 11 pm), I'd rather post about them together just in case.

At 10 pm in Southwest Austin (Circle C area) a person spotted a large, wedge-shaped, unlit, gray craft moving silently overhead. An hour later, in northeast Austin (along Cameron Road), someone spotted two objects flying through sky, in changing formations, and making  a "whirring" noise. What do these UFOs have in common? Well, besides the time and place, the witnesses made sure to point out that the UFOs were not lit, and they also seemed to be pretty low flying. Luckily, a photo is on the way for the north Austin sighting. And by the way, although the first UFO was described as silent, the witness admitted they were in a hot tub and may not have heard it.

Did you see something in Austin on the night of May 8th? Please let me know! Another mass sighting in Austin happened a couple days before.

I was lounging in my hot tub around 10:00 PM, looking up at the night sky as I often do, after an evening run. I noticed movement from the south in the sky, I was facing west. I looked and quickly saw what at first I thought was a high-power search light tracing along the bottom of the clouds. But almost right away I noticed that there WERE no clouds in the sky at that time. This of course startled and interested me so I sprang up and watched as this thing pass directly overhead, I'm guessing at about 2,000 ft, traveling exactly from the south to the north. Very deliberate motion, no wavering. As I watched it go by I noticed it was very clearly wedge-shaped and translucent-white, like the color of a cloud almost. To describe the shape, it was very much shaped like an Army Private 'chevron' arm stripe; angular and crisp. Almost exactly the same angle and width proportions of a chevron stripe in fact. It made no sound that I could hear (I had one low-power hot tub jet on, I couldn't turn it off since the tub was in 'filter mode', dang it). I didn't notice any lights on it, just a very slight glow to the whole shape. I waited and watched for another 10 minutes for a search light to cross the sky, but none did. A few wispy clouds drifted by while I was waiting - if there was a search light it would have lit those up. No video or pics unfortunately. But I will keep a camera nearby from now on. Just don't want to drop it in the tub!

13407Leaving the Whataburger at 11:15pm...prior to getting on Cameron Road I noticed a whirring sound and a few seconds later I noticed 2 light-objects moving from the NE toward my location and coming from hi to low elevation.

There were 2 objects moving in a lose and changing formation in relation to eachother...they were descending toward my direction (I stopped the car immediately and got out to observe because of how strange they looked and moved...there was a very subtle wobble or side-to-side motion as they moved along.

They stopped at an altitude between 200-300 feet, judging from the power-line height...they were very low and the whirring sound was very subtle and didnt last long.

They would be pretty easy to miss because they did not give off light rays...they had a clear edge to them but still having an inherent orange illumination.

As they moved westward above Hwy 290 I got back into the car and tried to follow. Somehow, without appearing to speed up they gained altitude and distance quickly...out of site by the time I reached the access road of Hwy 290 from Cameron Road. I moved onto 183North hoping to catch another siting of them but that wasnt successful.

My girlfriend was in the car with me. She heard and saw the whole thing...we have a photo from her phone camera that we will upload soon for the report file. It clearly shows the 2 orb-like objects.
