Very intense sound to the point to where my mind went white. sounded like a helicopter without the distinct "chop" sound. There was no wind coming off of it, and the sound completely consumed the entire atmosphere. made a Lobing sound. It was so loud that while we were camping, it scared up a bunch of Ferrell hogs into our camp and in the distance dogs began to bark as the sound dissipated. The witness described the sound as "lobing" --- which is defined as "the radiation pattern of a combination of two or more loudspeaker drivers at a certain frequency" on wikipedia. Here's what lobing sounds like, according to the following YouTube video - for reference:

I was in Fort Worth and heard them for what seemed like at least three solid minutes. About 10 minutes later I heard it again but off to the distance, nowhere near me but still significantly loud enough to be considered a jet across the sky. I recorded the empty sky, looking all over for some kind of aircraft both the first and the second time I heard it but there was nothing. The sound was loud enough to feel in your chest the first time it happened.There were clear skies and minimal wind so ano aircraft would assumed to be easy to spot. I've reviewed the videos and nothing. I couldn't find a single aircraft, not while it was happening, and not in the videos.

it literally went from sounding like a boat motor to being the most intense noise ive ever heard in my life within seconds. not sure how long it lasted because like I said, my mind completely went white and as soon as i came to, i got my phone out Leave a Reply. |
