Video of Object on Fire? in Austin

• What: Fiery light, hovering in mid air and then disappearing

Someone in Austin spotted a fiery object in the sky and speculated about what it could be with fellow witnesses (a plane? something on fire?) - you can read quotes and watch the full video below. This is the latest in a long line of similar sightings.

To viewers, the UFO appears to hover in the sky, changing from red to white to orange. Then it just disappears in the blink of an eye.

Planes, helicopters, satellites, and stars don't sit their in the sky for over a minute, and then mysteriously vanish. Could this be a flare... or something else far stranger?
