Zig Zagging Lights Fall Down in League City, TX

I received a great report of a UFO sighting from a couple weeks back. A resident of League City, TX watched in awe as a distinct, multi-colored, flashing lights appeared in the sky, and then zig zagged down until they disappeared. Her husband suggested it was a military craft being tested in the nearby Ellington Airfield, but she's not buying it. Here's her full email to me:

I live here in League City Texas..in Galveston County..It was about 2 am and I was letting my dog out to use the bathroom...I noticed in the horizon there was a flashing light..it had different colors and looked almost as if it were spinning..I saw it come down at an angle..I thought that maybe I was seeing a meteor fall out of the sky . I wanted to run inside to get my camera but I just could not keep my eyes off of it. I was in complete shock to what I was seeing. As I watched it fall from the sky it did a quick zig zag motion and disappeared. During the last two weeks I have been keeping an eye out again hoping it would appear .. This time I will have my camera ready..My husband was in disbelief and told me that it is Ellington Airfield doing their 24 hour testing(testing of what?).I know I saw something and I just could not get it out of my mind..
