NASA has posted an amazing photo taken by the Mars Rover, this time no showing a rock that kind of looks like a face, but a "clear-as-an-Earth-Day" image of some shiny metal parts of some kind:
Left Panoramic Camera Non-linearized Full frame EDR acquired on Sol 348 of Opportunity's mission to Meridiani Planum at approximately 12:45:41 Mars local solar time, camera commanded to use Filter 7 (432 nm). NASA/JPL/Cornell
This photo naturally rocked the Reddit UFO community, which enthusiastically discussed the photo but concluded that the photo was actually just of debris from the Mars Rover itself. Despite this conclusion, Fox News then parroted the headline (UFO on Mars!) as well as the explanation.
This is not the first time odd things have been photographed by the Rover. Check out this photo that TexasUFOs covered, which shows a UFO or fireball gliding past the Mars Rover:
Considering all that, do you really think this is Mars Rover debris, or perhaps something more alien or martian in nature? Why would NASA post a photo like this with no explanation at all, furthermore? The fact that we are only assuming this is the Rover, versus knowing for a sure fact, is definitely intriguing. Is this part of NASA's disclosure of UFOs and ET life in our universe?
