Cigar-shaped Crafts, Stars That Move, & More UFOs Over TExas

• When: August to October
• Where: All over Texas
• What: Most common sighting was of a star-like object that made strange moves and turns in sky

Hey guys, due to Life, and the mass meteor sightings... TUS is WAYYYYY behind. I prefer to dedicate a post to each sighting so that it gets the attention it deserves. However, it's just not always possible.

Here's a recap of the many sightings that have been in the backlog. Everything from cigar and boomerang-shaped crafts to stars on the move (SUPER common of late!)... here goes:

August

8/19, West Texas: Is this UFO, filmed falling from the sky, a meteor or a craft with four lights (see photo to the right)?

8/25, Lewisville: Bright star-like object repeatedly shows up over witness' home, but unlike a star, it moves. A few days later... a similar sightings occur... (read on):

8/27, Frisco/DFW: Bright star-like objects travel quickly through sky in straight line, but also change directions.

8/27, Little Elm: Planes appear to check out a ball of light with a haze around it, which also emits other objects.

8/28, Fort Worth: Star gazers notices that one of the stars changes colors and sometimes moves.

September

9/9, Fort Worth: Star gazer notices that some stars form triangle and move about sky. One theory? Satellites.

9/12, Friendswood: Bright, star-like object moves silently through night sky. Multiple videos of the event exists, but is pretty blurry. (See screen shot to the right.)

9/15, Bastrop: Objects repeatedly show up and appear to be stars, except they pulsate and change colors.

9/15, Houston: Strange red lights filmed, but footage is not clear.

9/16, Austin: Brief, dark video of a bright blinking light cut short due to sprinklers turning on. Apparently, this isn't the first the witness has seen this UFO.

9/20, City Unknown: Violet light beams from above the clouds (not from ground) - multiple witnesses (scroll down to read comment)!

9/22, Kennedy: Red and green lights making formations, hovering and moving - multiple witnesses.

9/25, Grand Prairie: Two objects fly in unison.

9/26, San Antonio: Bright light flashing blue in the sky... satellite? Watch video (photo on right).

9/26, Groves: Multiple blue lights, blinking on and off, hovering, and moving are filmed (similar to San Antonio UFO pictured to right).

9/27, Wimberley: Cigar-shaped object with multiple lights, flies faster than plane.

9/27, New Caney: Huge bright light hovers above horizon.

9/27, San Antonio: Video captures orange stationary UFO - footage is vague and so is description, however.

9/27, Seabrook: Orange sphere flies about sky, reappears and disappears (see photo on right).

9/29, Campbell: Report of plane-like object without wings submitted to TUS: "I was standing outside and saw a cylindrical object with thin rounded ends shaped like a plane without wings and traveling at regular plane level in the sky. At first it seemed white, then seemed to be almost translucent or opaque, and then it disappeared."

9/29, Copperas Cove: Gray boomerang shaped object glides through sky, report submitted to TUS:  "Around 830pm I went to walk my poodle..I stay across from the library and Municipal Court. I was talking to my dad on the phone..he started saying how dangerous it is to walk at night,so took my dog to an open small field by my apartments to let her run around. I started looking up at the sky at the stars, I noticed two helicopters or small planes, nothing unusual..one was in the distance to my right and the other coming in from the left as if coming from Fort Hood. We continued talking as I remain looking at the stars, when I started seeing a grayish almost black shadowish object moving across the sky. I started to have a panic attack, I wouldnt respond to my dad's questions because I couldnt believe what I was seeing, he hung up. The object was shaped to me like a boomerang with no lights and no sound. It was moving kind of slow, like when u let a balloon go, but it was hundreds of feet up and just gliding. I grabbed my dog and ran in my apartment. I called my mother and told her I saw a "boomerang shaped."

9/30, Fort Worth: Diamond-shaped objects flashing on and off, multiple witnesses (read comment).

9/30, Mansfield: Two objects appear to fly in unison, but then spread apart. Shaky footage.

October

10/1, East Plano: Red/orange orb spotted by other Texans was witnessed again west of 75, read the report submitted kindly to TUS by Mike: "I saw the exact same redish/orange almost pinkish/orange "orb" that u described.I watched it hover right above me heading east at 1st then floated north and flickered out..Im just so excited someone else saw it. I have been trying to figure it out, right now i just dont know!!! email please and discuss this further.."

10/2, Fort Worth: Brenda, of the River Oaks area in Fort Worth, submitted her account of a yellow star-like object moving strangely through the sky, to TUS: "A yellow light about the size of the north star,At first glance I thought it was the north star.But then it started to ,move and I was 'not sure that's what I was seeing.So I looked over to my left and found the moth star so I quickly to my boyfriend to look he said it had to be an airplane But I know it was not an airplane it was far enough to be a star but close enough to be seen it moved slowly across the sky slowly in a straight line then the light started to dime the it vanished for a few seconds then reappeared very dime"

10/2, Brenham: Very bright, fiery orange/red, pulsating orbs, sometimes moving - multiple ones and seen over multiple nights are photographed (see image on right).

10/2, Pine Island: Loud squeal heard from sky, even dogs tried to protect their ears. Unfortunately, the sky was cloudy and no crafts could be seen.
