10/20 Update: A similar sighting occurred in nearby Galveston a night later. Olga submitted a curious photo to TUS - of a fiery red line seemingly shooting down (or up) in the night sky. Could be the trail of a meteor or flare or... something far stranger. Here's the photo and brief description of what she saw: Red light that looked like a knife then turned orange didn't think anything about it til this morning when I looked up why it was in the sky

my daughter saw this fire object on the morning of November 7 2013 in Pearland & Alvin area on the way to school at 7:30 AM, THEN THE SAME DAY( last night) a huge Orb hanging in the sky at night around 8 PM the orb disappeared and another object appeared with BLUE LIGHTS and one white VERY VERY BRIGHT LARGE SLOW moving towards Hobby down beltway 8 from pearland silverlake 518 - SUPER CRAZY 3 different ones in one day my daughter is officially FREAKING OUT! and SO AM I

Orange to red no shape pearland. Texas and didint move much low flying disappeard after 15mins

I HAVE ALSO GROWN UP LIVIN' IN THIS AREA AND MUST KNOW MORE ABOUT THE ORANGE LIGHTS SEEN IN THE TEXAS COASTAL AREA DURING THE KRUNK WEEKEND OF OCTOBER 14TH. I HAVE IMAGES I DREW OF THE CRAFT(S) IF YOU NEED ME TO SUBMIT THEM. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

Hey that's the exact pic I took that night I uploaded it to Facebook and Instagram I was living right infront of the blue and white trailer you see on the right, all the dogs in the trailer park were barking like crazy and the sky was lit red and was alot brighter then what you can see in the picture just that's the best my phone camera could capture I put a filter on the photo to bring it out the best I can thats why the photo has a fuzz look to it I don't know what was in the sky that night but it looked like it was burning it's way in
