A great video featuring a possible meteor sighting in Houston hit YouTube last week. In it, you can clearly see an object zooming downward, with a smoky trail behind it. According to the witnesses, who can be heard describing the "UFO" while driving in their car, however, the object looked black. AMSMeteors.org has been FLOODED with fireball reports since the new year began, and a story out of Fort Worth says many in North Texas saw one the night of January 24th, also confirmed on AMSMeteors. Though this was a daytime event, perhaps it was part of a bigger shower? Doesn't look like an airplane because the trail that it's leaving, it's like... changing. Could this be a jet flying down or even crashing, meteor, or something else?
If you happen to see this, too, please share your story!

A couple living in Converse has seen a strange object in the sky appear at random for a while now. When viewing through a zoomed in video cam, the object appears cigar shaped. My husband first came to me one late evening, in early january. He's always really been into ufo's to where I'm more skeptical. He noticed it one evening looking out a bedroom window, slightly above a neighbors house. He noticed it's multi-color, flashing lights. When he asked me to look, I grabbed our video camera that has a really good zoom, hoping to get a closer look. When I zoomed in, I noticed a unusual cigar shape that appears to have lights or windows. It continues to be there in the sky, most nights. It's not always there, and weather has nothing to do with it. We would just like to get to the bottom if it, and find out what it really is. Trying to track down video of this object, but in the meantime, if you've sen a cigar-shaped object in San Antonio recently, report your sighting!
A Texan was awoken by a creepy green light that surrounded his mobile home. Since there was no sound and the light shined for at least 30 seconds, it's quite the mysterious experience. Fortunately, it was reported to MUFON: I had just gone to bed. Suddenly light appeared, as if someone flipped a light on, just over the house/yard. I did not see light approaching as if from a vehicle on the road. The light was VERY permeating. It infused through the curtains and lit up part of the room to about three or four feet inside the window even though the light appeared to be coming from straight overhead. The curtains are somewhat thin; but, there is not the same effect if someone is coming down the street with shining head lights. The light was a very intense true green like the color on the older traffic lights. The light was in the shape of a circle on the ground from the part I could see. The whole inside of the circle was lit up. There were about three or four smaller lights of a lighter/brighter green in the outline of the circle. Those were about the size of a standard overhead recessed ceiling light. I could not see a complete circle. I live in a mobile home. It appeared as if part of the circle was over our home and the home next door. Our yard space is about twenty to thirty feet between the two homes. At first I thought the light was a helicopter's search light; but, then I realized there was no sound and the light was green. The light did not move. It did stay there for about 30 seconds. At first I was frozen in fear. I don't think I moved the curtains to look out. After about five to ten seconds I tried to focus on the details so I could share them later. I can't remember if I moved the curtains; or if I could see around the outside edge of the curtains. The light looked as if it was shining straight down the entire time. After the light suddenly left (or the light was turned off), the fear was gone within seconds of the light leaving. I went right to sleep. There was never any sound before, during or after it left. I mentioned online in a Patriot group, I think it was, about the experience. Someone said it was a "flying hippie" and that I've been tagged as a threat. I have been unable to find much of anything online about that with the exception of it maybe having been a small blimp, or drone. However, like I said, there was no sound. Whatever it was, was there suddenly and disappeared suddenly; or the light came on suddenly and went off suddenly. Have you seen any large, silent air crafts in the Dallas area? Send a report!
Austin has been especially bustling with UFO sightings lately, of all varieties! Well, one of the latest reports to hit MUFON details a January 30th encounter of a UFO or glowing orb that flies high up into the sky, stops and hovers, and then flies right back down (similar to another Austin sighting earlier in the month) - this is definitely not a conventional aircraft. Could it be a drone? Fortunately, the witness was captured the UFO on camera, and submitted a full description of the event: We were BBQing when Gus ( one of three witnesses ) noticed a bright light appear in the sky NW of us. We sat and watched it for approximately 1 minutes go from left to right a few times then stop and hover. I made a joke " wave at the aliens " and immediately after that it descended rapidly to the ground. We ran to get our phones and when we came back out it was doing some crazy zig zagging. The rest is on video. There are two other phones that recorded it but my phone got the best footage. 100% not a plane or helicopter or ballon. This was something else. Sorry about the commentary but we were excited and freaked out. Here's the first part of the video, in which the UFO ascends into the sky and then stops and hovers for a while: And here's the second part, in which the UFO goes back down, seemingly to the ground. Have you seen any UFOs in Austin lately? Report your sighting!
A video just now surfaced of a pair of UFOs circling a fireworks show in Houston. The video itself is a bit shaky, but the comments from the witnesses can be heard loud and clear. Watch the video and read some of the highlights below: There's another one coming this way! |
