A UFO was seen on live TV earlier this week! Thanks to a recent MUFON report (case 116366), we have a video to analyze. Check it out and then let me know what you think...could this just be a bug? Or is "alien" still a possibility?

A really spectacular UFO sighting occurred in Austin just a few nights ago. According to testimony sent to me, a very strange-looking craft, so dark that it was "invisible almost," silently flew over the heads of multiple residents. The witness wasn't able to capture a photo or video, but they did attach a photo of a fictional spaceship, the "Geth" from the video game Mass Effect, as a representation: Allister in Austin writes: {some grammar fixed for readability} I will be trying to learn more about this sighting, but in the meantime, if you also saw this large "oblong" spaceship, please report your sighting! Especially if you were able to get a photo or video.
Witness update 4/17/21: I followed up to get more information from the witness, and here's what he had to say: "It was a stationary light. It didn’t hum, it didn’t buzz or had any sort of engine sound. I did feel static on my shorts and along the hairs on my arms and legs. I noticed this light around 9 pm, I stayed in the back yard for about 30 min went back inside, came back outside just to see if the light was still there. It had just changed the intensity of the light to a dimmer softer light."
A really great photograph of a mysterious stationary green light in the sky has been submitted to the site. Jorge Herrera sent in the following photo and testimony: Green hovering light shaped like a rod/ cigarette. It was a calm warm night, remember feeling static in the air, had a weird eerie feeling while staring at the light. I'm still looking into this report, but in the meantime, what do you think Jorge saw? Could he have had an alien encounter? Or is there a more earthly explanation?
Sightings of green UFOs are not very common, unless they are of "shooting stars" and meteor showers, that is. Here are a handful of other similar sightings to help compare (1, 2): Reports of "cigar" shaped craft over Texas on the night of the Space X Starlink launch have continued to be reported to me and other outlets. I want to share a few of them, because I'm not so sure these were sightings of the Starlink satellites. Keep in mind that cigar UFOs have been increasingly reported by Texans, and so we shouldn't be so quick to debunk every UFO sighting just because Space X has sent something up into the sky! April 7th at 8:50PM in Granger, Texas: Giant Cigar shaped object with lights April 7th at 8:41 PM in Cypress, Texas: It was a cylinder that was segmented Black metal and purple bands of light, and rounded on both ends 4/6/2021 Update: The witness has commented with some more information about the sighting that could help us connect all the dots. Firstly, this UFO sighting occurred in Henderson, Texas, on March 21st (the story originally stated East Texas on March 22nd). As well, here's some additional details the witness wanted to share: "Thank you for commenting and sharing this video. I recorded this video the evening before I posted it around 7pm in Henderson, Tx in the back of the McDonald's parking lot. I saw someone in the drive through pointing towards the sky so I looked in the direction they were pointing, saw this object and began recording. I have no idea what it was and it could definitely be one of the options you mentioned but either way I thought it was interesting and decided to post it just in case." Original Story
A glowing white cylindrical or cigar-shaped object hovered in the sky and then disappeared over East Texas, according to a video recently uploaded to YouTube. I'm still looking into this sighting, but if you know more about it, please let me know: Cigar-shaped white object hovers in sky: Object starts to fade: Object disappears: If you can't see the video below due to the age restrictions set by the uploader, click here. "If you have any idea what this might be please leave a comment and let me know 👀" This is not the first time we've seen something like this! There have been many reports of "cigar" UFOs over Texas lately, and this sighting also reminds me of a November 2018 sighting in Fort Worth, which you can see a photo and video of below: What do you think of these cases? Could they be related? Or is there an easier explanation, for example, a military flare that is burning out, or a plane that is flying away from us, giving us a false illusion that it's disappearing?
