A Dallas area resident spotted a very obvious object in the sky - brighter and bigger than a typical star. It also was a mix of red, yellow, and orange. Could this have been a satellite or perhaps a shooting star that only appeared stationary? No word on whether this object simply hovered or exhibited other behavior. The best line from this report? "I've seen a lot of UFOs in my time, so I just went back in the house." Read the full MUFON report right here: Bigger and brighter than a normal star.

A man and his stepson observed four lights glowing in the sky - first stationary and then moving around. They disappeared and then reappeared, only to disappear again. Their stop and start behavior and weird boomerang shape are definitely bewildering. Here are a few photos of the sighting: And then full report, submitted to ReportaUFO.com: We stepped out into the back yard and looked up in the sky to the south. At bout 40 degrees above the horizon there were 4 lights in the sky. 3 were bright and one was dim. The lights could better be described as "glowing," not as a light that shines. It was almost like looking at a star, the way they twinkle. Because they weren't moving, my first thought was of helicopters. But as we watched I quickly realized that they didn't have any kind of flashing lights, I quickly became unsure of what they might be. My stepson and I watched as the lights faded from view. It wasn't like they went anywhere, they just slowly diminished to nothing. The lights were located in the flight path on the north end of DFW International Airport. Aircraft could be seen around the sky (none in the immediate area of the objects we saw).
A gracious Facebook fan of Texas UFO Sightings has shared a photo of a UFO that she saw hover in the sky, only to quickly vanish. More recently, Denton was the location of a really great orb sighting captured from different angles on different cameras. She was able to catch a quick - thought slightly distorted - photo: Any ideas?
Some friends driving down the road were distracted by a group of orange orbs/lights moving about the sky and forming an unmistakable triangle. What's unique is there are actually TWO videos of the sighting. One shows the orbs in a random formation, while the other shows them forming a triangle. Honestly, it all looks a lot like the February 16th triangle UFO sighting in nearby Plano. Could these events be related? The clearer footage, posted by audisandoval: And some commentary from the video: "What the f*** is that, dude? UFOs?" And the second video, posted by his friend yavuzedgu: The Plano triangle sighting for comparison: On a bizarre, but possibly related note, A Dallas, TX resident tweeted about a sonic boom they heard on the same day.
In late April, a Denton, TX resident spotted a very strange cloud-like, possibly cloaked UFO (see rendering to the right). Well, now we have additional confirmation that this event has happened, as a TexasUFOSightings.com reader saw the same event the same night. Here are the details, which shed more light on the sighting: This sounds like exactly what I saw on about the same date at hwy 149 and Lake Cherokee.
It crossed the treelined highway, at a rough guess of about a mile in front of me. It seemed to have blue and pink wisps. |
