I'm not all that surprised by reports of V and triangle shaped crafts over Texas these days. It's an everyday thing right now. What is going on? Here's another report of a sighting of a "boomerang shaped aircraft," kindly submitted to TUS by a reader, who was one of multiple witnesses: This was a black boomerang shaped aircraft with no aviation lights. It has seven large dimly lit lights on the bottom. It was following the Texas coastline about 2:00am in a straight line. Made no sound whatsoever. I watched it come and go as it passed within two miles of us. Others with me watched it as well. Kind of spooky, sheesh! Did you see this UFO? Report your sighting.

A Houston resident spotted and was promptly perplexed by a stationary golden light (pictured to the right) - almost like a little fire - hovering in the sky. Although "meteor" is the first thing that comes to mind... especially considering how many have been zooming over Texas lately... but meteors don't just sit there for minutes at a time. A friend also saw it from a different part in town, and said they saw helicopters circling it at one point. Very soon, I'll be putting a post together summing up a strange trend of late... people seeing fiery red/orange light simply hovering in the sky (pictured on the left). Others have seen solid glowing orbs that have not been debunked as stars as of yet. If you've seen Melancholia (a movie I'll be reviewing soon, as anyone with an interest in UFOs will LOVE it), this is probably creeping your shit out a little bit. So, what are Texans (and the rest of the world, for that matter), seeing? A new star? Comet ISON? Please report your UFO sighting if you've seen something similar! In the meantime, read the MUFON report from the recent sighting in Houston: I was driving home from work on the evening of the 24th at 1820 CST. I was stuck in traffic and looked up and there was a stationary large object hovering and glowing. I instantly called a friend and asked if he saw it abou ten miles away. He also saw it and said it was stationary. At this time I was look up through my sun roof and passing Under the thing and it was silent and high up. Then a very low flying grey aircraft flew over and was also very quiet. My friend then informed me because I had to pay attention to the road that there were helicopters circling it.
Multiple people witnessed a very, very peculiar sight in the western sky - a glowing, fiery red light stationary in the sky. Another Texan saw a fiery red light suspended in the sky in Alvin (also in Houston area), as well, the night previous. Could this be related? Not to mention, people all over the world have been perplexed by a glowing red star they've been seeing in the Western sky, but this doesn't quite sound like the same thing. Read the full report, kindly submitted to TUS: A friend and I are staying at the Holiday Inn next to the San Luis Resort. We were woken just before midnight by loud neighbors in the room next to us. Here's the photo from the sighting in Alvin from the night before: Did you see this UFO? Please report your sighting!
I think it's safe to say Texas got a solid UFO flap on the nights of June 29th and 30th. A ton of reports from all over the Lone Star State hit the web and here's what they have in common:
Let me know if you saw these UFOs (or any) over Texas on June 29th or 30th, or comment if you've got a theory! Maybe drones were just making their rounds? Here are some video screen shots from sightings that occurred on the 30th: And a map view: View June 30th Mass Sighting in Texas in a larger map Multiple UFOs Over Galveston - Officials Not Talking Dallas area: Meteor(?) 7/8 UPDATE: This is not the only UFO sighting like this from June 30th. Read more. A bright white light can be seen slowly ascending up into the night sky in a video captured by a Galveston resident. But apparently it looked a lot more amazing in person, and was accompanied by other UFOs of various colors - from white to red. They apparently looked like hot air balloons or flares, but their actual movements gave them away as something more intelligent, especially since they moved against the wind. After the event, the witness contacted the Air and Coast guards and both said they had no idea what the UFOs were, and furthermore, didn't want to discuss the topic in any more detail. Here's the video: And the full witness testimony submitted to MUFON: About 5 minutes after 10 pm, HM the dog outside but came right back in and called for me (MG) to come look at something in the sky. It was a UFO. Then there was a second one, and then a third one. After I saw the first one, I ran back in the house and got my mobile phone and came back outside and took one short video and one photo. I knew the resolution would be nothing like seeing it in person and it was also after the UFOs had already become much smaller, too. HM got his camera which is much higher resolution than my phone camera and took three videos. But again, this was already after the UFOs were smaller than they first appeared. The UFOs looked like hot air balloons might look with bright, flame-like, flickering, intensely red lights in the center, but they did not move like hot air balloons would move. The clouds were moving slowly toward the ocean (South/Southeast), but these UFOs were not moving that direction. The first one moved quickly inland and became blurry and larger and dimmer as it went, and moved faster and faster. Before the first one disappeared, the second one appeared and it was very bright and red and flickering like fire in the center. It was up really high, like they all were, and it also moved inland and became smaller and smaller and disappeared. The third one appeared, all bright and red and flickering and distinct, but it soon started moving up higher and moving away and it also became smaller and disappeared upwards and to the South/Southwest. After all this we were still looking at the sky to see if there would be any more of them when there was a "shooting star," meteorite, or whatever. (Also, we moved to this location only a month ago so we don't know how rare this is, but 9 hours before this happened, the power went out here for 30 minutes. The next door neighbor, who has lived here a long time, told me that never happens here, but other neighbors doubt her memory, so I don't know which is it, but the power company reported the outage affected from 100 to 300 houses. Additionally, about a week previous, a fighter jet strafed this location. It was extremely low and extremely fast and extremely loud, so much so that the locals came out to see what was going on. It was very unusual. Aircraft are lot allowed to fly that fast and that low in populated areas. It was very strange.) The UFOs looked the way hot air balloons would look, but they also looked like flares attached to balloons or parachutes would look, except for the fact that they moved contrary to the wind direction. The next morning I called the local Air National Guard and Coast Guard. I asked them if they might know what these UFOs were and if there were any military aircraft exercises the previous night. All I got from them was an instant, "No, no, no sir, we don't know what that is, we haven't had any reports of that, there weren't any military exercises last night." Neither of them wanted to talk about it or suggest any possibilities for what the UFOs might have been. |
