"We know no one will likely believe us due to how crazy this sounds" - UFOs Reported Near Waco

11/14/2022

  • When: November 7th, 2022 at 8:27 PM
  • Where: Harker Heights (southwest of Waco)
  • What: Orange lights moving slow and low, and disappearing

A report of multiple slow and strange-moving orange lights over Texas been submitted to me by the witness, Heather Casanova. I am wondering if Heather may have seen Chinese lanterns (as they are orange circular lights that will eventually dim out), or fireworks, however the photo captured does not (on the surface) appear to tell that story:

Myself and a friend were sitting on my back porch when suddenly, a dimish orange/redish light appeared over/behind my neighbors home on my right. We watched as it slowly got closer. It was moving pretty slowly. As it slowly glided over my back yard, I assumed it was some type of drone because of how low and slow it was moving. I even waved at it thinking it may have had a camera. It crossed over my back yard, low enough to hit with a baseball.  Once it got a little passed the left side of my yard, it seemed to spontaneously combust with no smoke, dust, or sound. Just suddenly gone. IMMEDIATELY once that one disappeared, another one appeared exactly at the starting point of the first one.  It was also slowly moving and low. Once it passed over, it made it just a little bit further to the right then also just disappeared into a thin line of light. Gone. ANNNDDDD... just as soon as that one disappeared, one more appeared, again, same starting point, but this one did not make it over my yard. I saw it, it slowly moved towards us, but didn't make it very far and did the same "disappearing act" as the first two. We know noone will likely believe us due to how crazy this sounds. But we were able to get a couple pictures.
I am in contact with this witness, and am trying to learn more! If you also saw these UFOs, help to solve this mystery by reporting your sighting.

Retired Police Officer Sees White Triangle UFO Near Killeen

12/22/2020

  • When: December 16th, 2020 at 10:05 AM
  • Where: Harker Heights
  • What: White triangular UFO moving at "rapid speed"

According to a recent MUFON report (case 112783), a white triangle UFO was seen near Killeen. A retired police officer witnessed the shining, possibly metallic craft take off at "Star Trek warp speed." Read the full testimony here:

TRIANGULAR SHAPED OBJECT MOVING AT RAPID SPEED THEN WARP SPEED AND GONE

MY NAME IS [name removed/cms/rjl] ,RETIRED POLICE OFFICER. i AM A TRAINED OBSERVER, AND I WAS TAKING MY DOGS TO THE DOG PARK YESTERDAY MORNING, AND WAS THE ONLY PERSON THERE. I USUALLY MEET SEVERAL OF MY FRIENDS THERE EACH MORNING WITH THEIR DOGS AND WE VISIT. THIS MORNING WAS PRETTY COOL AND WITH A 15 MILE AND HOUR NORTH WIND SO AS I SAT ON THE PARK BENCH I TURNED MY BACK TO THE WIND AND SAW 3 SQUIRRELS PLAYING IN A ELM TREE, AS I WATCHED THEM I NOTICED A WHITE TRIANGULAR OBJECT IN THE SKY THAT SEEMED TO SHINE METALLIC AS THE SUN GLINTED OFF OF IT IT MADE A COUPLE OF ROLLS AND THEN CONTINUED ON COURSE FOR ANOTHER FEW SECONDS .....THEN LIKE STAR TREK WARP SPEED IT LEFT SO FAST IVE NEVER SEEN BUT ONE OTHER TIME THAT KIND OF SPEED.AND WAS GONE. ALL WITH NO SOUND OR CON TRAIL.

What is amazing is that triangle UFOs are some of the most commonly reported UFOs in the world! And in fact, back in the summer of 2018, I featured a 'white triangle UFO" sighting, so similar to this one, from El Paso:
Picture
When: August 31st, 2018 at 6:35 AM Where: El Paso What: White triangular-shaped object
But if you can't take my word for it that triangle UFOs exist, would you listen to the Pentagon? According to recently declassified files files, the Pentagon investigated a triangle UFO case, in which a military pilot saw and photographed a triangle UFO that appeared right outside her cockpit window. Although the actual photo was not released, an artist rendering of it was:

Very Bright Large Mystery Light Hovers Near Fort Hood

5/9/2017

  • When: May 6th, 207 at 8:30 PM
  • Where: Harker Heights (just outside Fort Hood)
  • What:  Large bright orb hovering, then disappears

An extremely bright and large orb hovered high up in the night sky for several minutes near Fort Hood, according to a recent report  submitted to MUFON (case 83602). The witness snapped a photo:

I was leaving work and about to get in my truck when I saw the object in the sky to the SW of my position. Object was bright and too big to be a star or planet. It was not the moon. Object seemed textured, almost like a mirror ball, and appeared about the diameter of a dime held at arms length in the sky. The object just hovered in the sky and did not move. I heard no sound other than that of traffic but I don't think the object was close to me. I had the impression it was very large but a good ways off. I watched approximately 10 minutes and then it was just gone. I never saw it move. It just wasn't there anymore.

This is very close to Fort Hood so it very well could be something military but I'm used to seeing transports and helicopters of all shapes and sizes. This was none of those aircraft.

It may be nothing but thought I'd send the picture your way just in case.
Could this be a military craft, as the witness suggested, considering the close proximity to Fort Hood? Or could this be alien? It doesn't appear to be a typical plane, drone, satellite, or weather balloon, that's for sure! Share your theories about this UFO sighting in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram! And, as always, if you've seen a UFO, report it!

"It's time to share." Another UFO Witness Near Fort Hood

6/16/2015

  • When: June 8th to June 14th, 2015
  • Where: Killeen and Harker Heights area
  • What: Object that hovers, pulsates, changes colors, and travels in all directions - at least two witnesses
A Texan used to seeing unique military crafts in the sky was shocked to observe a UFO in Killeen (in her neighborhood) and in nearby Harker Heights. The witness submitted a very detailed, and very intriguing anonymous report to Texas UFO Sightings. In it, you'll discover an object that, at fist glance, looks like a star, and then precedes to behave in all kinds of intelligent, spooky ways. And to top it all off, the witness has been seeing this night after night. They hope to snap a picture soon! In the meantime, we can read their firsthand account:
We weren't going to say anything because we thought that maybe we were seeing something military, living in Killeen and all, but after reading the June 14th report of a craft sighted by a guard at Ft Hood, I think it's time to share.

Approximately a week ago, around 10pm my sister was looking up at the stars and noticed an unusually bright star moving slightly north bound. She asked my brother and I if we saw it too and after I second I noticed it drifting too. It moved very slow at first like it was pretending to be a star, but after twenty minutes or so things got incredibly real.

The craft dropped in altitude, just enough so we could see it was definitely NOT a star. We could see blue-ish white lights around the perimeter of the object and noticed it was spinning. As we continued to watch the object started flashing. Not like an airplane where there are select lights flashing; THE WHOLE THING started flashing bright white and it zig-zagged through the air like it was looking for something. As I thought to myself "what the fuck am I looking at" I hear my brother say "did it just turn red?"

I would describe it as a purple-ish color but dark red is acceptable as well. for about five minutes we watched it continue to zig-zag flashing the purple/red color.

Soon it was still sitting North East of us.

Just so we're clear here, I've been living at this address for almost a year. My father has been in the military my whole life, and I watch the planes that come off of skylark airfield (which is about where it was situated) almost daily. I have NEVER seen an aircraft do what I saw this thing do.

It rapidly dropped in altitude and flashed the purple again. In the light myself and my siblings saw the craft quite clearly; I could draw you a picture.

The center looked like a bright pink diamond with a metallic looking disc around it.

It didn't stay this close, as fast as it dropped in altitude, it returned to its original placement still flashing purple. We were too scared to continue watching so we went inside.

I felt like I just got bucked at by an alien spaceship.

I thought I was losing my mind. That all sounds crazy, so the next night we thought we'd look again, and sure enough there it was pretending to be a star again, moving slowly north like the night before, however it did not approach us again. It did not flash purple. It did however flash white.

And when I say flash, you should know I don't mean like a star twinkles. I could see the light radiating off the surrounding clouds, that's how large the radius of light was.

The next day I was driving to Target with my sister around sundown, where I witnessed what I believe is the same craft above the cinemas in Harker Heights. Upon returning home the object was NOT in it's usual spot. I checked periodically through the night and it did not return.

The next night we saw it again and every night since. It has not flashed like it did the first night, or the second night. It just moves north slowly like always.

The only exception is when activity at the airfield picks up. If an airplane looks like it is approaching the craft it will ascend until the airplane has cleared.

I'm not sure what we saw or why we see it every single night. If you have a logical explanation, please tell me, cause I'm dying to know.

Unfortunately there is no photo or video evidence to support what we saw the first night, and it has not done it since, otherwise I'd have taken a video. I had never been so frightened in my life to see a big purple diamond just drop out of the sky. Next time I'll fight the fear and take a picture.

Harker Heights lights: Multiple Witnesses & Video

3/3/2013

Picture
  • When: February 28, March 1st, & March 2nd, 2013
  • Where: Harker Heights, TX (near Killeen)
  • What: Lights of many colors, moving about the sky, vanishing

What's going on in Harker Heights? Multiple witnesses, and a video, confirm that there have been some goofy lights in the sky... changing colors, red, green, blue, changing formations (even switching places), blinking on and off. They certainly don't belong to an aircraft or a satellite. What could these be?

They first showed up on February 28th, according to a MUFON report, and then they showed up again on March 1st (with video to prove it), and also on March 2nd, if we're to believe a comment on the original MUFON report.

The witness who captured the lights on video might be YouTuber Fernando Hernandez, however it's unclear if he's simply the uploader of the video or the witness (past videos are also of the "paranormal"/New Age variety). Regardless, it matches the MUFON reports almost exactly, so l'm not suspicious of it.

Read the original MUFON report, the follow-up comment, and watch the video of these weird Harker Heights lights below:

My daughter and I were traveling West on tx 190 through harker heights my daughter saw the red first. I looked up to see a bank of red lights, bar shaped, hovering over the roadway. I don't know how far up they were. Lights turned slowly and flew off to the west before disappearing. I scanned the sky to see if I could account for the unusual lights and saw another light bank on the other side of the highway. This one was a blue green. It was close enough that I could distinctly make out 4 individual square/rectangle shaped lights. I drove underneath it and had no way of checking behind me at that angle. My daughter said she didn't see it although at this point, the sun was coming up and obscuring her view. We see a lot of interesting lights in this area, but this is by far the most unusual. I did not see anything about it in the news, so I ask here.
This report prompted a comment by another Harker Heights resident, who saw the same thing on March 2nd:
Its March 2nd and they are out again tonight - over knights drive over wall greens. ive been watching them for an hour now. if they were a toy...wouldn't they run out of gas / battery? and the range is incredible - they are going to so high and so far - back and forth. one green - on blue that changes to red every so often.
Then a video hit the web of the same lights (it seems) in Harker Heights, on March 1st:
Here's the YouTube description:
"my brother caught these on 3/1/03 early in the morning what r they"
