A father and his son were in their backyard when the son saw a UFO. The dad then went to grab his camera and by the time he pointed it to the sky, the UFO was still there. But then after a while, it appears to travel or fade away, which definitely rules out "star" as an explanation (not to mention this is a 6:30 photo so good chance it's not a star):
Facing North from my backyard around 6:30pm central time South of Weslaco my son brought it to my attention.
This really doesn't look like or behave like a star, and it seems awfully high up to be a drone. If you saw this as well, add to the story and report your sighting.
After a workout session, a Weslaco resident snapped a photo of the beautiful night sky and ended up with a photo of a UFO... two bright lights specifically. These lights might belong to a conventional craft, or may not even be two lights at all, but one light broken up by the clouds. Either way, it's a great photo - check it out, along with the witness testimony, which were submitted to MUFON:
I was walking out of the Ultimate Fitness Center in Weslaco texas, after my workout loved the colors of the sky, so I decided to stop and take a picture. I was walking towards my car. Noticed two lights on the picture and wondered what they were. I honestly posted picture on FB as a blessing from God to have such a beautiful, colorful scenery that morning.

If you read TUS from time to time, you're not new to one of the latest UFO "flaps" (as UFO nerds like me like to call them). Mass sightings of triangle-shaped crafts have really picked up over the last few months. One of the more controversial sightings came out of Austin, when a set of 3 red lights hovered over a show at ACL. Some people are quick to debunk them as Chinese lanterns, while others are not sold on that theory one bit.
Regardless, there's no doubt at ALL that triangle or V-shaped crafts have been witnessed by Texans recently... video out of Seguin and Dallas (scroll down) show exactly that!
The latest sightings out of Arlington and Beaumont are also terribly intriguing (you can read the reports below). One witness, who saw a triangle craft at the same time as a friend in a different part of the city, was excited and scared by the experience - they almost didn't report on it for fear others would think they were crazy. Thankfully they did!
Here are some of the photos from recent sightings:
And here's video from an October 12th sighting in Houston, as well as its YouTube description:
Seldom do I get to see a flying craft with TRIANGULAR PATTERN of steady lights.
Read a recap of some of the more impressive sightings to get reported on recently. And check out some new reports below...
And here's a MUFON report out of Arlington from Oct 25th:
At night, when it was partly cloudy, I was outside with my sister feeding our dogs outside when I glanced up to the sky . Than, all of sudden, an object caught my sight. This object was a large dark outlined triangular shaped object that had 5 white lights that were located at the edge of the this object. This lights made a V-shape. This object was flying slightly above the clouds. I noticed it's triangular shape when it wasn't in cloud cover and noticed it's dark outline. The way the object flew was in a straight line, slightly faster than commercial airplanes. The object, as it flew straight, rotated from when I first sighted it till I lost its sight of about 20 - 30 degrees. I lost sight of the object after it went behind the tree line. At first, after viewing the object, I felt confused because I thought it was a plane but the object didn't make a sound as well as the way it didn't make a flight path the same as an airplane.
And Beaumont from Oct 21st:
I was getting off work about 10:40 pm. I always look around when I leave work because I work Dispatch at a stadium and it's dark , and I have to walk to my car. I looked up and saw a triangle shaped light in the clouds. At first I thought it was some type of light for an airplane. But as I continued to watch it , I could see that it wasn't that at all. The triangle shape was almost glowing. I watched it for about 5 minutes. I then called another coworker to come outside and see it. We watched it for about another minute. Neither of us could explain it. I then got in my car and headed home and called a friend on the way, to tell him of the incident. Before I could really get my story out, he started telling me exactly what I had seen. He told me he was putting out the trash and saw the same object in the sky. It was scary, but exciting in the same. I have never witnessed anything like this in my life. Almost to afraid to tell anyone, didn't want them to think I was crazy... Tried to video it , but the video is was much to dark.

The days following, similar sightings in cities all over Texas hit the web. There are a number of other reports I have in the queue (as usual) and so I suspect I'll be updating this soon.
In the meantime, here's what I know so far!
Read the MUFON report from the September 3rd sighting in Plano:
Object Shape Boomerang, Chevron, Triangle'
And here's the September 4th sighting in Corpus Christi:
Object Shape Boomerang, Triangle
As well as the September 5th sighting in Weslaco, which describes more of a sphere than a triangle, but it still feels familiar:
I was sitting outside in a chair, just relaxing, trying to get my mind off things. I first noticed the object when came up in the distance then just started hovering stationary right in front of me. I didn't know what the object was because I had never seen any earthly vehicles do what it did. It was a black circle with 3 orange-red glowing lights that would pulsate and in the middle of it was an extremely bright little blinking white light that would blink at random. It would fly a
View Black Triangle Sightings Aug/Sep in a larger mapround really slowly, then just stop for about two minutes, then hover to another direction and do the same thing. I felt fascinated, yet kind of scared but not in danger in a way, making me just sit there and watch it. After about 3 minutes of it just hovering in front of me as if it was observing me, it took off slowly to the north, directly over my neighborhood. I live in an area between where it's rural, but kind of close to the city. I see weird things every once in awhile.

South Texas has been full of strange encounters and sightings lately!
Sleep paralysis is not a new phenomenon to scientists. Some people experience a scary, but fortunately temporary inability to move when falling asleep or waking up. Sleep paralysis can also create hallucinations, as well as the sensation that someone is watching you, or looking over you while you lay in bed. While scientists are content to leave it there, there's still plenty of room for the supernatural. Could sleep paralysis be induced by... well, aliens? Alien abductions and sleep paralysis have been linked throughout history - it's possible ET or even other people could exploit this "flaw" in the human brain and use it to paralyze someone and abduct or experiment on them. Maybe those aren't hallucinations or bad dreams, after all.
What's with all that education, you ask? Well, someone who suffers from sleep paralysis on occasion experienced a pretty terrifying episode recently and they believe they were visited by ET. Having a "nightmare" wasn't the whole story... the sleep paralysis victim and his girlfriend also witnessed three, orange laser-like lights - round in size and also flirting with other colors, like blue - hover and then mysteriously vanish.
Here's the full, riveting MUFON report:
Much of my childhood I would go to Illinois, my father had a job for roofing. My last year there was when I was in 8th grade. During that year (2007) I experienced something out of the ordinary. I woke up in the middle of the night with something standing next to my bed. What made things worse was that I couldn't move at all. Only thing I would be able to move were my eyes and eye lids. Didn't think much of it even though it felt so real. Then again it happened with the same "thing" being next to my bed, again I couldn't move. This would happen three times before I came back to Texas on November 2007. The dreams went away. (Mind you that I never thought they were dreams, but I considered the fact after letting my parents and brothers know about what was happening.) Then it happened again here in my home in Texas with something standing next to my bed. The last incident in which the "thing" showed up I was sleeping tv was left on and window was open being 1ft away from me. There was no gusts but it was a cool night. I started moving around to get comfortable. In the middle of my movement I felt a presence again and again I couldn't move. Facing the window being paralyzed I could see a figure outside my window. Getting use to what was happening to me I closed my eyes tightly till it left. Only this time I felt it come in the room. My eyes being shut I felt I wasn't in the room anymore. I heard what closely resembled rain drops. I woke up being morning already. It was the last time I saw it, but it wasn't the last time I would wake up being unable to move. My girlfriend recently moved in with me on February of this year. I told her what would happen to me. Like everyone else she didn't really believe it was real. On April 22, 2013 between 3:25-4:30. The strangest thing happened. Both me and my girlfriend saw two orange lights small in size but its physical mass could be seen. Both resembling circle shape flashed and vanished from my room, as a 3rd light appeared being blue in color appeared flashed and vanished. The lights we both witnessed we not ordinary lights, resembling laser like lights. I believe I have been visited by beings not from here. Only conclusion I came up with. Hoping for a response on my experiences. Thanks.
