Close Encounter with "Gigantic, Oval-shaped Craft" Leads to Missing Time in Texas

• What: Gigantic, oval-shaped craft hovers over witnesses while they are driving in car, frightening them and causing other strange disturbances
  

An amazing encounter of a large and  ominous oval-shaped craft appearing over a family of three in Texas in the early 70s has only just now been submitted to MUFON (case 92859). The testimony was submitted by one of the witnesses, who was only three at the time of the sighting. The witness is admittedly going off of their parents' memory of the event:

My parents describe something hovering over us with flashing light. lt paralyzed and couldn't move when it was over an hour had passed by it is something my dad gets very emotional when he speaks about it!I wanted to tell their story

I was 3 years old my parents were driving from Arizona to Miami. my parents say in Texas they noticed a gigantic and oval shaped craft hovering over us they say they knew it was not a plane or helicopter because of they way it hovered over us.my mom said she was so frightened that she didn't move her head she just signaled to my dad with her eyes!They said they felt paralyzed and could feel the pressure of the craft and hear a humming sound and saw lights they say of colors they never saw before They say that when they checked time an hour had passed This is something they don't like to talk about!My dad starts crying every time my brother and I ask him to talk about it!My mom and dad are very serious people and I personally believe their story I wanted to share it because they are getting older and I wanted to share their story while they are alive!

1973 was a year of many UFO (and even alien) sightings, including the famed Pascagoula Abduction, a case in Texas of women being chased by a triangle UFO, and other misc. cases. The Pascagoula Abduction, in fact, has many things in common with this testimony from the same year - the shape of the craft was oval, and the witness experienced a "buzzing" sound and feeling of paralysis, as well as missing time.
