Passenger in Plane Sees "Tic Tac UFO" While Flying Over the Dallas Area

10/11/21 Update: I have made a correction to this story since posting it. The correct date of the sighting is September 19th, 2021, not August as originally written (I presume this was just a typo on my part).

That said, this story also may not be over... people have been reporting an increasing number of "Tic Tac" UFOs in recent months. For example, according to a NUFORC report (case 164617), there was another "Tic Tac" UFO sighting over Dallas that occurred about a week prior to this one (on the 12th), in which the witness described seeing a "completely silent ... object ... "Tic Tac" like in shape... extremely high up in the sky." It had no wings and vanished within a "blink of an eye." Apparently the witness captured this UFO on camera, but unfortunately that video is not attached to the NUFORC report to view.

Original story (with correct date):

• When: September 19th, 2021 at 11:54 AM (and also possibly on the 12th, see update above)
• Where: In a plane flying over the Dallas area (the witness guesses Pottsboro, Texoma, or Dallas)
• What: Tic Tac-shaped UFO

During a daytime flight, a passenger was gazing out the window when they noticed something strange... specifically, a metallic-looking "Tic Tac"-shaped object flying toward them. The witness snapped a few photos and submitted them, along with testimony (case 118274) to MUFON.

Like a metal satellite - tic tac shaped?

I observed this metal object, shaped like a satellite or tic tac or a long pill like object, do not recall seeing wings on it. I was on a Southwest flight that had just departed DFW and was headed northbound for Tulsa. I was sitting in the window seat taking pictures out the window of the clouds below us, and saw this object fly by so I snapped a few pics. Time stamp on my pictures says it was 11:54 am and I was flying northbound over Texoma and Pottsboro, TX. The object was flying in the opposite direction of my plane, so it was headed southbound. It seemed pretty close to the plane I was on, maybe a mile away from us if that. I was startled to see something fly by so close and it was about the same altitude as the SWA plane I was riding. I thought it was a satellite flying by the plane, but I have since been told and read online that satellites fly much higher into space than a commercial plane. I am pretty sure it was not a drone as seemed the size of a small plane maybe. I'm really not sure what it was. Please see the 2 pictures I was able to take and I have circled the object I saw fly by the plane. Would love your thoughts on what it might be. Thank you!
