Strange! Bright Orange Light Splits Into Multiple Lights Over Cotulla, Texas

A really interesting MUFON report (case 90120), filed by a MUFON investigator on behalf of the witness, details a case in South Texas of a single bright orange light that split into multiple lights, which then chased each other around in the night sky. The UFOs were then accompanied by "two high-speed aircraft" before they finally disappeared. The sight was later reported to the local sheriff. Read the UFO report below:

Bright orange light split into 4 and chased each other.

MUFON investigator received telephone call from witness. Witness was outside his house at 1900 hours when he and approximately 15 other witnesses observed a bright orange light coming out of the east at tree top level. The object split into 4 other objects of equal size. The objects proceeded to chase each other around the sky then formed back into a single object when, what appeared to be 2 high speed aircraft approached from the east. The aircraft and the object flew towards the west at tree top level. The witness watched the object disappear, with the aircraft in pursuit. At 1945 hours while still on the phone with the witness the witness said the object came back and divided into multiple objects that chased each other around the sky making right angle turns, sudden stops and starts before disappearing. The witness did not say if the object formed back into one object before disappearing. The witness contacted the sheriff's department but nothing had been acknowledged.
