A really intriguing time-exposed photograph showing two colorful lights traveling in a straight path (and appearing to almost cross-cross each other) has been submitted to Texas UFO Sightings by the witness. The sighting reminds me of Christmas lights! I just watched your "Keeping It Weird" Episode 2, with a video of colored lights. It might be similar to something I photographed back in 2002-2003. The photo below was taken with a 35mm film camera attached to a small telescope. In this approx. 2 to 3 second time exposure there is an object flying in a straight line flashing colors, and the amber line is an amber "light" which was operating in the vicinity of the first object. Are these colored lights similar to your video? It's hard to authenticate a photo like this, due to the time exposure, but it is reminiscent of other more credible UFO sightings, which is in fact why the witness reached out in the first place! I recently made a video on UFO sightings in 2020 that were pretty similar to this one: In the YouTube video, I offer up a SpaceX satellite launch (the "starlink" train, specifically) as a man-made explanation for these UFOs. But not too confidently. Ever since Elon Musk started sending rockets and satellites up into space, people have been debunking UFOs as "Space X..." Space X is the new [drone] [Chinese lantern] [weather balloon].
What's interesting is the case being featured here is from 2002, and so we can't debunk it as a Starlink satellite train. What do you think this witness photographed? Two more traditional pre-Starlink satellites? Or maybe.... aliens?!? Let me know what you think in the comments!

I am the person who took this photo. A number of people on Facebook commented that this photo is of the Starlink satellites launched by Elon Musk (beginning in May 2019). As the copyright indicates, this photo was taken in 2002, and the activity I witnessed was at an altitude of a commercial flight - so max. altitude of 25-30,000 feet. My estimate was that the object was at about 15,000 ft. altitude. It could therefore not have been a satellite. The photo was taken using a small Costco telescope to which I attached a 35mm film camera.
