June 10th, 2018 Update: UFOJane has broken down the latest NASA press conference for you:
Summary of NASA Announcement: In today's much-anticipated NASA live discussion, it was announced that organic molecules and methane have been discovered on Mars. The reason that the discovery of methane gas is so interesting is that on Earth, most methane is produced by biology (for example, livestock) and so that means there is evidence that Mars has potential for life. It was also emphasized that the Mars Rover has met its objectives of finding out whether Mars could be habitable and has helped with NASA's plans to possibly colonize Mars one day.
Original live updates
1:38 PM: During the Q&A, NASA explains that methane is produced by biology on Earth (like livestock), and so that is why methane on Mars is so interesting - its' potential biological origin. 1:24 PM: NASA is currently exploring whether or not the methane on Mars has a biological origin or not...and that the theory of biological origin is being "held" and "not rolled out" yet (hmm). 1:21 PM: NASA explains how methane may be trapped underground on Mars today, seeping up through cracks and fissures. 1:18 PM: NASA explains that there are different sources of organic material: biological, rock processes brought in by rivers, and asteroids and meteors. The methane discovery, on the other hand, is not an ancient discovery, but a modern-day one. 1:16 PM: NASA clarifies that it found organic molecules (including propane and benzine) in ancient rocks that were only drilled into about 5 centimeters. 1:11 PM: In 2015, NASA discovered samples by drilling into the Gale Crater, which also had evidence of water. It took a few years for NASA to understand the samples. 1:05 PM: NASA clarifies that the organic molecules discovered could originate from something as simple as an asteroid, not necessarily life. 1:02 PM: NASA announces no discovery of alien life, but discovery of organic molecules (the building blocks of life), which have been trapped in ancient rocks and found in methane gas in the atmosphere. Original story Stay tuned to TexasUFOs.com for live updates... At 2pm eastern and 1 pm central today, NASA will host a live discussion about new results from its Mars Curiosity Rover. The public can watch the live stream on Facebook Live, Twitch TV, Ustream, YouTube and Twitter/Periscope.
NASA scientists have announced many bold discoveries and theories about water on Mars, and life on Mars, over the years, and some UFO researchers, including yours truly, believe that NASA is very close to announcing its plans for colonization on Mars, as well as life (even if just microbial or ancient) on Mars, and this will be a step toward bigger UFO and Alien Disclosure.
What do you think about NASA's upcoming announcement? Will it be as big of a deal as many news outlets are speculating, or easy to forget? Share your thoughts in the comments below, or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, and stay tuned to TexasUFOs.com for updates on this latest NASA news.
A NASA photo of a Mars crater from 2005 has been making headlines recently. A popular UFO researcher noticed that NASA labeled the image "Chryse Alien" and suggested that this could be proof of alien life in our universe.
While the photo is definitely interesting and seems to show an alien face, I personally believe NASA was just having fun with the name.
Now, while this photo may show a Mars impact crater and not a real alien face, it could still show proof of alien life. Or at least, ancient alien life. The Chyrse Planitia is the name of the Martian plain where the above image was captured, and it is home to many ancient river valleys and perhaps a large ocean or lake. This of course means there could have been alien life on the planet in ancient times. The name "Chyrse" refers to an ancient island in Southeast Asia rich with gold, referenced in both mythological and historic Greek texts. So, the name "Chyrse Alien" does imply a lot more than a simple Martian impact crater. I'll leave it up to you, the community, to read between the lines! Share your theories on this real NASA photo and NASA's curious name for it in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
When a politician asks a NASA scientist if there used to be an ancient civilization on Mars, it's bound to make headlines. And that's just what happened on July 18th, when US Congressman and House Representative Dana Rohrabacher of California posed a pondering question to Ken Farley, one of the planetary scientists speaking at a hearing about science, space, and technology: "Is it possible that there was a civilization on Mars thousands of years ago?"
As silly as this question seems, it's actually quite reasonable, considering the subject matter at hand - water on Mars! Although the Mars Rover hasn't captured any compelling evidence of current life on Mars, NASA has repeatedly presented evidence to the public over the years that there used to be water (the key ingredient for life!) on Mars, and there could be water there today. Considering that humans evolved rather quickly in the grand cosmic scheme of things, is it really that hard to believe that an intelligent society of humanoids or aliens could have prospered on Mars a long time ago?
Not to mention... there was that time the CIA tired to remote view Mars... and possibly even succeeded at viewing intelligent Martians living there in the distant past. Yes, really. The "Stargate Project" was the code name given to the CIA's secret "remote viewing" program, which lasted from the 1970s to the 90s. In one experiment, a student of the program apparently astral projected to Mars and saw unnatural structures, and communicated with thin, tall beings!
If NASA has painted such a clear picture of Mars, then why did the government pay the CIA to remote view the planet?
Meanwhile, NASA seems quietly confident that they will discover ET life in the near future, stating that life in the universe could be ubiquitous, and also stating that they won't necessarily have to send boots on the ground to discover it, but satellites and robots like the Mars Rover. (Or NASA can just psychically view the red planet, perhaps.) NASA has even made posters promoting the colonization of Mars:
The planetary scientist's answer to the Rep. Rohrabacher was fairly predictable and uninspired: "I would say that is extremely unlikely."
No offense to NASA as an institution, but many UFO researchers may find this specific response to be pretty preposterous. We are still learning about new human ancestors and civilizations on Planet Earth; it would seem eccentrically arrogant to presume anything about the ancient history of a planet we've only recently been studying up close. What do you think about this story? Does it help or hurt UFO and Alien Disclosure? Do you think we will see more stories like these over the coming months? In an exciting live NASA press conference held during the afternoon of February 22nd, 2017, NASA's top scientists discussed the discovery of Earth-like planets in a distant star system, which they called Trappist E, F and G. At least one of the planets they believed to be "rich with water content." After the news was announced, the scientists discussed how they came to calculate the size of these planets and determine that they were located in the inhabitable "Goldilocks" zone, before answering questions from journalists and social media. Credit for the discovery was primarily given to the NASA's Spitzer telescope.
On the surface, there doesn't seem to be anything terribly exciting or surprising about the realization that there are distant planets that might have water on them. NASA has announced similar findings before, so what's so special about this conference? What is special is... this time around, NASA scientists colored the conference with extremely exciting and bold statements that seemed to predict an upcoming discovery of extraterrestrial life, and hint that this specific discovery was just the tip of the iceberg, with one scientists stating "There's been a crescendo to answer these questions that have been on our minds (are we alone in the universe?) ... this is the right time to have this discovery... right now."
Here are some of the highlighted (sometimes, paraphrased) quotes from the NASA press conference that seems to paint a future reality where extraterrestrial life is a reality...
As with the Mars colonization posters NASA made, NASA also showed a scifi picture of space tourists visiting one of the distant planets mentioned in the press conference:
