Unexplained lights in the vicinity of Conroe Regional Airport

After conduction military aviation training flight, multiple lights were noticed moving erratically in the in the vicinity of Conroe Regional Airport (KCXO). The lights were observed by 3 personnel, unaided and appeared to be a at high altitude. The lights were observed to accelerate, stop, and immediately change direction. The personnel then used aided night vision and confirmed the same erratic behavior from the same group of lights.

The lights were observed west of KCXO. Sky conditions were partly cloudy with visibility 6 miles or greater.

Over Lake Conroe, saw it while driving and then took best picture I could from the 19th floor of my hotel. It was very dark but wasn't moving just hovered there.

Fast moving bright object flew across the sky, slowed down to a hover, made several sharp turns, then disappeared over the tree line.

I was standing outside talking with a co-worker when we both noticed a circular bright light moving really fast across the sky, moving from the South East to the West. We heard no sound. As it approached the west it slowed down as if it stopped, took a sharp turn to the South, then another sharp turn to the North. I ran out onto the street as I stumbled with my cell phone to capture a photo or video. All the images appeared to be blurred on the screen as I tried to capture some type of evidence. That's why the video I did capture was short. It appeared blurred on my screen but after reviewing one of the videos it actually focused on the object for a short time. This object shot out beams of light that reflected of the clouds above it. The object also flashed with multiple lights after it slowed down.

Shortly after the object disappeared over the tree line two helicopters flew directly overhead about 300-400 ft off the ground in the direction of the object. These helicopters were moving fast with blue flashing lights.
