Saw a cylindrical type with 10 are so lights in a row fly in a straight line from NW towards SE

Saw a vehicle of some sort flying from the NW towards the SE, it was a clear morning towards the north and broken cloud cover to the south (it rained Tuesday night), it looked Cylindrical with lights on the bottom, it flew in a straight line and faster than a plane. But it did not just whisk by it was a steady straight line.

I was driving home with my son from Austin to San Antonio. While driving in New Braunfels traveling south past the Bucee's is when I saw it. As I came to the top of the hill on the highway, I saw an object hovering silver in color, and cylinder in shape. At first. I thought maybe it was a bird, but it just hovered. As I got closer I thought maybe it's a helicopter or some other plane. However, this object was completely motionless. I grabbed my son's arm and pointed up to where it was, and it was already gone. I have never seen anything like this in my life, and honestly, I wish I never did. I will now spend the rest of my life knowing that I saw a UFO. I'm a military veteran, who knows the difference between a plane, a bird, etc. This had no heat signature, or plume, it was as if it was suspended in gravity stuck. And then BAMMM!! It's gone. Craziest thing I've ever seen in my life.

Red and black octagon cylinder about the size of a city bus flying perpendicular to the ground at a flight level of 900 feet. Flight path was southwest to northeast at 100 knots. The craft rotated displaying red then black solid surface.

Two Air Force jets chasing object

1998 date unknown I did observe two Air Force jets chasing an object is heading from the West to the east after about a minute or two and high speed chase I saw the two aircraft brake off and heading back to the West they gave up in approximately five minutes later I saw the same object again coming from the south headed towards the North   in the direction Stevensville leaving the vicinity of Gatesville  Texas  I was working on a state prison unit and was on a guard Tower at the time when I observe the action in the air of the two aircraft breaking off away from the object the next day I went to the local newspaper in Killeen Texas and ask the editor at the front desk if there'd been any reports of anything in the Western sky outside of Fort Hood area, the man then stated to me or you another person that sing that object in the sky I looked at him and said okay that's all I need to hear he started hollering at me to come back and talk to him but I said no I'll not be ridiculed but idiots that don't understand I went back out in my vehicle and left I knew at that time what I seen was real it was not a figment of my imagination because other people had seen it also, the aircraft both look like F-15 Eagles, I did have my private pilot's license my father was in the military for 37 years I also worked at it Army Airfield in Germany when I was in high school one of my hobbies is military aircraft at that time I could tell you every known military aircraft in the USA allies and Warsaw Pact and I can guarantee you the aircraft they was chasing at the time was no known aircraft it had no wings it just look like a smear in the sky it was moving so fast it look like a cylinder almost like a flying pill

SAT 23 MAY 2015 (Approx. 3:30PM CST)
American Airlines Flight 5777 – DFW to HSV
I was flying back from Phoenix AZ to Huntsville AL and had a layover in DFW. In DFW there where storms coming in and we were, I believe the last flight out before they stopped flights, because of the approaching storms. I was sitting in seat 17F, which was on the starboard side. Once we were up and got to cruising altitude (approx. 27-30k feet) we started banking to the starboard side to fly around a huge thunderstorm, which had a real tall thick chimney type plume. We had to be miles from this thing because it was slow go on getting around it. As I was looking at this huge cloud I noticed off the port side of the plume a steel-gray cigar shaped object sitting real close to the top of the cloud. It was almost touching it. This object had to be huge. I was thinking it had to be as big as an aircraft carrier or the empire state building on its side. As we continued to come around I saw that it had three grayish "ribbon" like tails coming out of the back end. These "ribbons" where three times the length of the object and were all the same length. They were stretched out straight behind the object and were in a wave form. I thought the wind might be catching them but no clouds where moving and the ribbons" where move moving. The object had zero markings that I could see. I thought I could be a weather balloon or a blimp, with it sitting so close to the cloud not moving AT ALL, at that altitude, no markings or other things hanging, and the size itself, I knew it wasn't. Now as we were banking around the object was not moving. Not up, not down not side to side.it just sat there like it was anchored to the cloud itself. About 3 minutes from the time I first saw the object, the object, along with the ribbons", started to pivot to our right. It was almost like it was pivoting around the cloud. The object nor the "ribbons" moved or up or down. The whole thing just pivoted around the cloud like it was trying to hide. From the looks of it, it was moving just a little faster then we were. As the object started to go behind the cloud we were still banking and I was thinking that it is about to be hidden from my view and was curious if it would be on the other side once we came around. As I was watching the object go behind the cloud, and once we came around, the object was nowhere to be seen. During this time I was looking in all directions and I never saw it move off in any direction from the cloud. This whole sighting lasted for around 8-10 minutes. I thought about getting my phone out but I didn't want to lose sight of it, plus the window was at my right shoulder and I didn't want to put my phone there since the person behind me would see it. Hindsight.I should have.
