A giant green fireball was spotted by many Texans on the night of September 12th, and some even got to see and hear it explode!, according to AMSMeteors.org: Was at a football game and saw what appeared to be a large light green tinted meteor that had come from over my right side and went north. Ended in an explosion. Never saw one before. Surprised by color. - Jackie H Recently I put a post together about the uptick in meteor sightings in August and September, and well, this is just another one to add to the lot! I'm quite used to the rhythm of UFO and meteor sightings, and we're definitely seeing a healthy amount of sky activity right now!
Did you see this meteor? If so, report your sighting, even if you have a different explanation for what you saw!

Seeing UFOs in the sky happens around the clock, but seeing one land by your bed? That's pretty rare. But apparently, that's just what a Plano area resident experienced about a week ago, or at least that's what they reported to MUFON. Although sleep paralysis happens and can definitely explain this scary occurrence, I'm confused as to why it seems to be happening so much lately. I've reported on several alien abductions of late, and of course that's still quite a mystery to the UFO community: are these cases of sleep paralysis, do aliens or some sort of entity induce sleep paralysis, or is there something even stranger going on here? Read the MUFON report below, which describes a huge UFO landing beside the witness' bed: I was sleeping, woke up at around three am .. I saw some real bright lights they were looking at me all I could think was how could a ufo be so smalli really rhought it was cool but did not move or budge.. I dont remember when it left or what else happened. the object was ovalish the size of a ten gallon aquarium.. still in motion.
If you've seen this, report your sighting! For 2 nights this week, including tonight, my wife and I were sitting outside on our back porch looking at the sky when my wife noticed an object about the size of a large star moving north in a straight line across the sky. We looked at it each night with my binoculars and noted initially that it looked blurry. However, nothing else we observed was blurry. It was therefore not the binoculars; it was the object. It appeared to have a strange aura. Tonight I thought it looked like the top of a jellyfish--round, transparent--or perhaps the top of a parachute. It was not an aircraft or a bird or insect. It was not a balloon or plastic bag. It held a steady course, moving faster than such wind-blown objects. We could come up with no reasonable, logical, natural explanation for what we witnessed. It flew across the sky in a straight line with no sound or deviation of movement--just a strange fuzzy aura around it. It eventually flew out of view. I told my wife I would go online tonight and see if I could find anyone else who may have seen such an object. Sure enough, I did see a few online descriptions of "flying jellyfish." However, this object had no tentacles or appendages hanging beneath its basic round structure. With the binoculars, I got the impression that it may have had several seams radiating from its center toward the perimeter, like an umbrella. In fact, the round edge may have been more like an umbrella than a perfect circle. Strange to see this thing twice in one week. We were both left baffled and bewildered.
A Houston area couple were taken aback by a super strange sight outside their home - a giant orange rectangle hovering silently in the sky, and eventually fading to black. The witnesses tried to find an explanation for the sight, and even drove toward it, but they have so far come up empty. Did you see this odd floating object? If so, report your sighting! In the meantime, here's the full witness report, kindly submitted to TUS by a reader: About 10pm Sunday evening September 8th my husband walked outside looked up into the sky and I heard him say "Am I seeing things?" I went outside as well and looked up and saw a perfect orange rectangle in the South sky. It was positioned as a door would be with the two long sides vertical and two shorter sides horizontal. It looked to be pretty high up in the sky and very large. The orange color was bright and would flicker slightly like a fire would. My husband and myself walked down the street Southward toward an empty field across from our property and as far as we could see directly above the tree line was this bright orange glow and ran the length of the treeline which had to be at least a mile or two long. We saw no smoke, smelled no smoke, nor did we hear fire trucks. It stayed in the sky in the same place for about 20-30 minutes before fading until all we saw was one vertical black line. I have looked online trying to find a reasonable explanation for this, was it a fire, explosion, something, anything but have come up with nothing. We also drove into the direction of where we saw this bright orange glow that appeared to be fire and have come up short there as well. Someone else had to have seen this as well but have found nothing there either. I tried to take a picture of it but it was too dark for it to come out. If anyone has an explanation for this anomaly please reply.
A pair of friends were getting high and watching the stars... sorry, watching the space ships! To their surprise, they observed several glowing, white orbs bouncing around and making sharp turns, something satellites and planes just don't do. So, were they just enjoying some really great herb, or did they really see UFOs? Smoking does not make you hallucinate, and I have no doubts about this sight - it's actually quite a familiar one. Here's the colorful description of what went down in South Texas the night of September 8th, kindly submitted to TUS by reader Wayo A: Pure coincidence that mine & homegirl's phones had died. Blazing (no, we weren't tripping out, well yeah we were but on the god damn ships" at a local park all night, we started seeing white gleaming dots flying around up in the atmosphere in very intricate & tight patterns from about 1:30-4 am. Planes can't turn like that, & no they weren't satellites. The best way I can describe this series, & bare with me, is...imagine (shit, we thought it) star ships with a zero-gravity propulsion system (they can move & change speeds in any direction) having a dog fight in space, or a bunch of ships mobilizing for whatever reason at that location in space they were consistently flying about. Yeah, we were stoned, but you don't hallucinate, you just chill...now imagine us trying to keep chill while watching that shit |
