January 13th, 2020 Update:
The witness has followed with me about what she saw: "It was new years so there were a lot fireworks going off. In the second video I posted the lights started to fade out one by one. Nothing really stuck out as unusual, except for the lights themselves. They seemed so far away, I was not sure what they could be." A lot of people seem to be in agreement with me that this was not a triangle UFO, but probably just Chinese lanterns, considering they don't do anything "weird," per say, and they also fade out, one by one. The witness' testimony also matches up to this theory. But that doesn't mean it's the right theory. If you think this is a triangle UFO, let me know in the comments or on Facebook or Twitter! Original story:
Two videos showing a triangle UFO (or multiple lights forming a triangle) over Houston, were uploaded to YouTube. The video ended up making national news headlines! As compelling and news-making as this footage was, the fact that the triangle UFO never moves and eventually all but one of the lights blink out, leads me to wonder if these lights are drones, flares, Chinese lanterns, or even fireworks? What do you think? Scroll down for more...

Several folks in Central Texas witnessed a very strange string of lights glide through the sky in the early hours of Tuesday morning. I've seen reports out of Austin and Houston, so far:
Starlink Satellites to blame?
But it turns out that aliens are probably not invading the Lone Star State. SpaceX launched a "fleet of Starlink satellites" on January 6th, and so many online are suggesting that Elon Musk is really to blame for these UFO sightings! Based on the launch date, and other photos of Starlink satellites I've seen in the past, this theory holds a lot of water:
Where most reports of UFOs were reported, Houston:
What Starlink satellite looks like from down on the ground (pretty amazing looking):
That said, with the increase of man-made advanced craft, from drones to satellites, we should be careful to not be so quick to judge or debunk a UFO sighting. After all, there are famous sightings from the past that are very similar to the "Starlink train," and so we what are we to make of these sightings? Would they be incorrectly debunked as our own satellites if they were seen again today?
Compare photos of the famous Lubbock Lights (1951) and Stephenville lights (2008) to recent sightings of SpaceX satellite launches and let me know what you think... maybe our technology is catching up to ET's?
As always, share your opinions on this sighting and more in the comments below, or on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

According to KBTX-TV, a mysterious string of lights was seen over the College Station area on Tuesday night. There's a likely explanation, however. And it's not aliens...it's Elon Musk! SpaceX launched "60 Starlink Satellites" from Cape Canaveral, Florida Monday morning and so that's our best theory so far. This is not the first time that people in Texas have seen a SpaceX satellite launch, even though it was only expected to show up over California (based on news reports). What implication does this have for the UFO phenomenon? If human-made craft is getting so advanced that every sighting of strange lights can be debunked as a drone or satellite or military craft, will we ever be able to know what's up there? Will UFOs and man-made craft just start blending together? And what are we to think of similar sightings that occurred before planes, drones, satellites? Have we seen ET planes, drones, and satellites in the past? Could we still be seeing them today, along with our own? For example, the Lubbock lights from 1951, could this have been some ET version of satellites or space drones of some kind? As always, let me know what you think of this and other cases like it. Should we assume any mysterious lights like this are a satellite launch? Or should we try to prove it first? I'm having trouble tracking where the Starlink satellites were on Tuesday night, but right now it appears to be near South America.
SOLVED! According to the Internet, this photo clearly shows a bird...or a drone! I found it amusing that people were certain this photo didn't show a UFO, yet they had some disagreements about what it really did show! That said, I think both explanations are reasonable, especially when you compare photos up close of the "UFO" and a drone as well as a bird: Original story
An odd, almost disc-shaped, metallic object over Dallas was photographed by a stereo camera in the daytime. Although the UFO was not seen with the naked eye, the photo captured is high-quality enough to learn from, and so far, it doesn't appear to be tampered with. What do you think of this sighting? Take a look at the photo and testimony submitted to MUFON (case 103922) below, and let me know what you think of this recent Texas UFO sighting on Twitter or Facebook, or in the comments. Perhaps it's a drone or camera anomaly or... aliens! Unknowingly caught on stereo cameras. Appears to be some kind of aircraft.
January 11th, 2019 Update: Many more reports of these lights have come rolling in, but it turns out aliens aren't visiting, after all. According to local news, the National Weather Service explained the lights as caused by "light refraction after a temperature inversion" earlier that evening. The flames by the nearby oil rigs were suggested as the culprit. Did you see these lights as well? Do you agree that these were just light reflections?

TexasUFOs received two very similar reports and photos of strange red lights over Texas. On the night of January 8th, 2019, UFOs were seen over the nearby Texas towns of Midland and Odessa.
